Welcome to the website of the Franciszek Górski Institute of Plant Physiology of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
The Institute is the successor of the Franciszek Górski Department of Plant Physiology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, which was established on 15th November 1956. The Institute inherits the scientific and intellectual achievements of the former Department.
According to the decision issued by the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Franciszek Górski Department of Plant Physiology was closed down on 30th June 2003 and the Franciszek Górski Institute of Plant Physiology of the Polish Academy of Sciences was established on 1st July 2003.
The Institute took over the movables, the rights and duties, as well as the assets and liabilities of the former Department.
